About the Role:  

The National Account Executive (NAE) plays a crucial role within our high-performing Woolworths Customer team, focusing on driving success in customer relationships and financial performance. This role involves working closely with the National Account Manager (NAM) for nutritional snacks and cereals, with a primary responsibility for achieving financial targets within these categories. Additionally, the NAE is key in developing and nurturing long-term customer partnerships, while identifying continuous opportunities for joint growth and category success.

What your days looks like:  

 

  • Collaborate with the NAM to achieve sales, profit, and market share targets for Nutritional Snacks and Cereals.
  • Manage Woolworths customer relationships, enhancing influence and negotiation skills across these categories.
  • Own promotional slotting with Woolworths and Arnott’s, ensuring volume alignment with the supply chain.
  • Track and report on key activations, sharing insights weekly with stakeholders.
  • Contribute to range reviews, customer management, and execute plans with direct Woolworths contact, sharing insights with the field team.

 

The Ingredients for Success:  

  • Degree in Business, Marketing, or related fields preferred (but not essential).
  • Eager to develop skills through non-BAU activities, projects, and stretch opportunities.
  • Strong analytical and presentation skills, capable of turning data into actionable insights.
  • Experience with data platforms like Quantium, Synergy, IRI, or Nielsen is highly beneficial.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office and the drive to be a collaborative team player who likes to excel in high performing environments.
