What actions have you taken to develop and GROW your skillset and leadership qualities while at Arnott’s?
During my time at Arnott’s so far, I have developed my skillset and leadership qualities by being project lead on numerous projects. This has given me the opportunity to head up meetings and presentations as well as work cross functionally to understand and manage all the various touchpoints involved on a project. This has helped me to develop my management skills, problem solving skills, collaboration skills and learn to challenge and champion ideas with a growth mindset.
What is an achievement at Arnott's that fills you with PRIDE and a sense of accomplishment?
One of my achievement’s so far at Arnott’s that fills me with pride is the personal progress I’ve made through the various presentations I have done for Snack Right at our National Business Conference and Monthly Meetings. Improving my presentation skills and confidence when speaking to a big group of people was something I wanted to work on during my time on the Graduate Programme and I am happy to say I have had lots of positive feedback about my presenting, and I now feel confident taking the lead in situations such as these.

How do you sustain optimal performance and THRIVE at work?
My work life balance is something I’ve always wanted to prioritise because the last thing I want is to feel like I’m overworking or facing burnout. I’ve realised the key to my personal proficiency is ensuring I have time to chat to my grad friends, take small breaks from staring at the screen and go on walks around the street with a buddy. Taking a day or two to work from home is also a great way to take the pressure off work, while maintaining high performing. The Arnott’s environment is wonderful, and I’d say I feel very comfortable with the current workload and urgency of tasks, for me, it’s just the perfect amount.
In what ways does your PERFORMANCE impact the achievement of Arnott's goals for their consumer brands?
In my role so far, I’ve managed to explore data governance methods, reduce error rates, and support others in handling their tasks more efficiently. To enable Arnott’s in “Creating Delicious Moments”, I aim to deliver a track record of quick/accurate results while ensuring I support the growth of others, helping them do the same. This results in the overall optimisation of the company collectively, creating bigger and better delicious moments!

How do you sustain optimal performance and THRIVE at work?
For me, sustaining optimal performance at works starts with strong foundations in physical and mental health. Getting good sleep, regularly exercising and eating well are key levers I rely on to ensure I not only feel my best but can maintain high performance in my role at Arnott's.
From a mental health and community perspective, I find coming into the office on a regular basis is critical. Proximity with colleagues and the leadership team is important for not only helping me to feel part of the Arnott's community but has helped to accelerate my learning and streamline my communication with key stakeholders for critical workstreams.
The flexibility at Arnott's allows me to work from home when I need to focus for deep work, but I find working at Head Office alongside colleagues within my Business Team is critical for optimal performance. In addition, maintaining an active social life outside of work is also an important part of my work life balance, allowing me to switch off, relax and then reset for work.
In what ways does your PERFORMANCE impact the achievement of Arnott's goals for their consumer brands?
I work across projects in marketing and category management in the Meals & Beverage Team, which includes tracking our winter performance and developing a new product. The ownership given at a graduate level position at Arnott's means my performance is genuinely critical to the Arnott's goals for consumer brands.
