We are a Sydney-based Design & Construct residential builder offering a hands-on Site Engineer Internship for civil engineering, construction management, or building students. This role is ideal for students who want genuine on-site experience and a clear understanding of how engineering drawings are executed on real residential projects.

As a Site Engineer Intern, you will work directly with project managers, builders, and subcontractors on active construction sites. You will gain exposure to site coordination, quality control, set-outs, inspections, and consultant communication—bridging the gap between university theory and real-world construction practice.

High-performing interns may be considered for future employment and potential employer sponsorship, subject to eligibility.

Job Description / Responsibilities

Assist site engineers and project managers with daily site operations
Support set-out works, inspections, and quality control checks
Review drawings and specifications for constructability
Coordinate basic information with subcontractors and consultants
Assist with site records, progress tracking, and defect lists
Attend site meetings and gain exposure to construction sequencing

Requirements

Studying Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field
Strong interest in site-based construction work
Good communication and problem-solving skills
Willingness to learn and work on live construction sites
