We are a Sydney-based Design & Construct residential builder offering a hands-on Site Engineer Internship for civil engineering, construction management, or building students. This role is ideal for students who want genuine on-site experience and a clear understanding of how engineering drawings are executed on real residential projects.

As a Site Engineer Intern, you will work directly with project managers, builders, and subcontractors on active construction sites. You will gain exposure to site coordination, quality control, set-outs, inspections, and consultant communication—bridging the gap between university theory and real-world construction practice.

High-performing interns may be considered for future employment and potential employer sponsorship, subject to eligibility.

Job Description / Responsibilities

• Assist site engineers and project managers with daily site operations

• Support set-out works, inspections, and quality control checks

• Review drawings and specifications for constructability

• Coordinate basic information with subcontractors and consultants

• Assist with site records, progress tracking, and defect lists

• Attend site meetings and gain exposure to construction sequencing

Requirements

• Studying Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field

• Strong interest in site-based construction work

• Good communication and problem-solving skills

• Willingness to learn and work on live construction sites
