As a business, GHD also provides financial support to the GHD Foundation, a registered charity that addresses disadvantage and inequality in children accessing STEAM education in the countries where GHD people live and work.

Career development

GHD's two-year Graduate Development Program is designed to give you a smooth start to your consulting career. You’ll get a broad look at the many career pathways available at GHD and have the chance to work in teams to help deliver exciting projects, contribute to bids and tenders, and even get hands-on with occasional site work.

Given the size of GHD and the scope of its operations, there are plenty of opportunities for professional development and career growth beyond your two years in the Graduate Development Program. GHD supports employees to attain professional accreditation in their discipline. 

Employees also have access to the GHD Business School. This provides diverse learning opportunities that allow employees to acquire the experience and knowledge they need to grow and develop. 

The Talent Exchange program is another great opportunity, moving people across different parts of the business (and locations, if that’s your aspiration) to share skills and knowledge.

Graduates can participate in GHD’s Young Professionals network, which mixes learning and global networking across a wide range of social, community and professional development activities.

Like all GHD employees, grads are encouraged to make use of their Career Pathways tool. This supports and guides employees to develop an impressive portfolio of skills and experiences, so they are well-positioned to advance their careers.
