Sales and Marketing Executive

NIHON SHOKKEN ships the largest amount of liquid seasonings in Japan, and our company mission is to become the number one company that makes the world “more delicious”. To that end, we contribute to society through food culture, in the research, production and sales of sauces and seasonings.  As food culture continues to develop, we have expanded our business from our home country of Japan to the world stage, opening our first Australian branch office in 2022 in Sydney. We work diligently to make the world more “Delicious and Convenient” by being “pioneers of world cuisine.”

Key responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain B-to-B customer relationships (Wholesalers and Distributors) in Australia
  • Promote Japanese sauces and seasonings to the Australian F and B industry
  • Conduct product demonstration workshops
  • Host and manage food exhibitions for product promotion
  • Develop and propose promotions for each respective customer’s marketing programs
  • Analysing new trends and researching market opportunities for upcoming new products

What you will do:

As a representative of one of the world's largest food companies, you will promote our company’s products across Australia. Working in a small but high-performing multicultural team, upon commencement you will take part in a training program, being mentored by senior employees in not only sales and marketing but also accountancy and general management. Then, you will then be allocated an area (state/territory) to manage with the aim to develop business and maintain relationships with food manufacturers and distributors in Australia.
