Job Description

Our 12-week paid Summer Internship Program is designed to give you hands-on experience and a genuine insight into life at AECOM. You'll work alongside experienced professionals on meaningful projects, collaborate across multidisciplinary teams and gain exposure to the innovative solutions we're delivering for clients across Australia and New Zealand. As part of a global consultancy, you'll experience the scale, diversity and opportunity that comes from working with experts across different markets and disciplines.

You'll also participate in our AECOM Summer Series, connecting with senior leaders and learning more about the many career pathways available across our business. For high-performing interns, the program can also provide a pathway into AECOM's Graduate Program.

Qualifications

• Summer Intern attributes: Interns who are curious and excited to apply their studies in a professional environment. You'll bring strong communication and teamwork skills, a positive and proactive attitude, adaptability, and a commitment to professionalism and integrity.
• Bachelor’s Degree: You must be in your penultimate year of a Bachelor’s or Postgraduate degree in a relevant discipline for the role you are applying for.
• Commencement: Able to work full time hours from 16 November 2026 – 19 February 2027.
• Working Rights: You must have full working rights to work in Australia or New Zealand before applying. We do accept candidates with student and graduate visas.
