Dovetail is undertaking the conversion of the first Cessna Caravan into electric in Australia, and potentially the world. We have set up an aggressive objective to obtain an STC for the electric conversion in 2025. For that purpose Dovetail is recruiting a talented team of

• Electric Engineers
• Systems Engineers
• Aeronautical and Certification Engineers
• Mechanical Engineers

You will be involved in fundamental aspects of the development of our electric powerplant and integration with the airframe.  We are developing cutting edge technology with high positive environmental impact as electrification is the best way to make short haul aviation truly clean. We have a global vision and the company is poised for dramatical growth.

Requirements:

• Degree in Systems Engineering, Electrical, Aeronautical or Mechanical Engineering
• Experience with electric powerplants and machines. Direct experience with Electric Vehicles will be highly regarded
• Experience with broad array of engineering tools / languages including MatLab, Simulink, LabView, Python or C++
• Knowledge of Fuel Cells and hydrogen systems will be highly valuable
• Excellent organizational, planning, and follow-up skills
• Experience with battery integration and package design. Knowledge of BMS and energy controls
• Excellent oral and written communication skills, interpersonal skills, and ability to work effectively with others
