The successful applicant will receive a 24-week, full-time placement beginning in Jun / Jul 2025, offering 'real-world' industry experience. Apply for your Co-op Internship Bursary after being appointed to a Co-op Internship. Bursaries for a 24-week placement total $21,500.
Applicants must be Australian citizens or Permanent Residents, currently enrolled in an Engineering program (single or dual-degree) and majoring in Photovoltaics & Solar Energy or Renewable Energy Engineering.
A competitive candidate will have achieved a credit minimum in all courses and overall WAM. Some industry experience is preferable. Having met the academic and experience requirements, the successful applicants are largely selected on their interpersonal skills and motivation.
If offered the internship, you must be prepared to:
- intern for 24 weeks full-time at Iberdrola;
- attend placement continuously for 24 weeks, placements cannot be split;
- enroll in the relevant internship course in each Term; and
- study 1 (max 2) additional course(s) in each Term (T2+T3, 2025). Appointed interns can submit requests to study a 2nd additional course in each Term.
A Progression Check is essential to understand how this internship will affect your degree progression.
