About Us

Tutor Lim began with the simple idea that the lecture hall/classroom setting was insufficient for unlocking the learning potential of each student. Our mission is to create a sustainable community where students and tutors can work together and solve problems. We want to gather like-minded individuals who enjoy both teaching and ‘learning-by-teaching’. We invite problem solvers to join us in our effort to build a team that is committed to helping students succeed in their studies. Together we can create an effective learning environment for students at all levels of education.

Today, we are a growing community of 2150+ registered tutors, teachers and mentors supporting near to a thousand students across all universities in Australia in the fields of science, commerce, engineering, mathematics and technology.

About The Job: 

Subjects: Autodesk, 3D Modelling, Criminology,  Econometrics, Occupational Therapy & Contract Law Tutor.

This teaching task spans the 12-hour course long (6x2-hour lessons).
The engagement will start in April 2023
Date and time - Flexible
Frequency: 1-2 times per week.

Upon a successful lesson, the delivery candidate will be tasked with more tutoring opportunities within the team.

Ideal Candidate
1. Responsible, punctual, dedicated individuals.
2. Hold or currently studying related degree
3. Must be flexible for online classes
4. Should have taken the subjects/ tutored before. [ Recommended ]
5. Shall be prepared to bring necessary materials for every lesson as required.
6. Have experience as a teacher, tutor or mentor.
7. Have a valid working visa and willing to travel (tutoring lessons are usually held at Libraries but sometimes home visit).

The location of the classes and schedule could be flexible based on your and the client’s availability.

The hourly rate starts from $40 per hour depending on qualifications and experience.

Successful candidates are hired into our company as part-timers with TFNs.
