This is an opportunity to work with the Tasman investment team who have deep private equity investing and operational experience. The role will involve fundamental and market research on new investment opportunities, as well as assisting the investment team in execution of new investments. In addition, the role may also involve research and deal support for the existing separate accounts in the manufactured housing estate and tourism sector.

The environment is fast paced, with an emphasis on learning about direct private equity investment. Tasman’s flat structure allows for exposure to work on the full lifecycle of transactions from origination to execution to active management and to the eventual exit.

To be considered you will have:

• Currently completing (or completed) undergraduate or post-graduate degree in business, law, or a technical discipline
• Previous work experience in a finance related field is of interest but not essential to be considered for the role (via full time roles, part-time roles or internship)
• A positive, enthusiastic, and hard-working approach
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Competent analytical skills and knowledge of Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
• Genuine interest in private equity, and/or general investment with understanding of what drives value in a business
• The ability to work from the Tasman offices alongside the team based in the Sydney CBD
