Role Overview: The Merchandising Graduate role is designed for recent Marketing graduates who are passionate about Category Management and Brand Marketing. This role offers a unique opportunity to start a career in these fields through a structured learning and development program – our current CEO began his career in this graduate program!

 

About the program

• You will participant in a 12-month learning experience within our retail network during which you will undertake a month-by-month learning plan to gain deep knowledge of customers and products.
• After this, you will transition into the Merchandising Team at our office in Auckland. Here, you will learn the foundations of Category Management and Brand Marketing.
• In the support centre you will experience supported learning and development under the guidance of a mentor.
• In the support centre you will contribute to business-critical campaigns and projects that have real life effect in shaping the experience of our customers.
• Once the program is complete, you will roll off into a full time Category Management or Brand Marketing role. 

 

Key Selection Criteria:

• Recent university graduate with a degree in Marketing or a major in Marketing from studies in Commerce, Business, Management, or International Business.
• Strong marketing knowledge with an interest in current trends and industry developments.
• Analytical focus with a passion for understanding trends and product developments.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to problem-solve and make informed decisions.
• Capability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Demonstrated leadership capabilities.
• Team player with a conscientious approach to work.
• Resilience and passion for reaching goals.
