Investment Specialist - Wealth Management - Finance – BS/MS Graduate

The Programme

This 18-month programme, which comes with a permanent contract, includes on- and off-the-job components, placing the emphasis on teamwork but also exploring each individual's specific skill set, as well as furthering their development and setting specific objectives.

As a member of our graduate programme, you will develop your business know-how by working alongside accomplished professionals. Your initial training will be complemented with a professional certification relevant to your area of business (CFA, CIIA, etc.).

In addition, our programme will enable you to develop the interpersonal and self-leadership skills you will require in your future career. The programme will provide you with the opportunity to establish an extensive network of peers and experts within Pictet and to meet members of the management, with potential short assignments to our overseas offices.

Your role:

You will work with a team of investment professionals in Pictet Wealth Management with the objective of delivering optimized investment solutions and best-in-class experience to Pictet’s clients. You will also attend various workshops that provide an understanding of the complex, competitive and constantly changing world of private banking.  

There is also the possibility of rotations to other functions, depending on needs and availability.  

You will finish your graduate programme as an investment professional, where you will use the expertise, you have gained to contribute to the success of our teams. 

Start Date: 1 September 2025.

Reporting to: Head of Investment Specialist – Hong Kong. 

What You Will Do

  • Develop an understanding of Pictet’s offering, policies and guidelines, attending relevant investment forums and presentations.
  • Keep up to date with the financial markets, assist in developing investment strategies and portfolio management.
  • Support the Senior Investment Specialists in their business development efforts, prepare investment/advisory proposals and portfolio reviews. 
  • Assist in the Asia Investment Platform’s efforts to communicate house views with front-line colleagues.
  • Participate in strategic projects/initiatives as assigned. 

Required Skills and Abilities

  • A Master or Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Management from a leading university.
  • At least six months' and no more than two years’ experience working in finance or marketing/sales for an international company, or in a multicultural environment. 
  • Outstanding analytical and organizational skills with attention to detail.
  • A strong team player, with excellent communication skills, including writing and presentation skills.
  • Excellent command of Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Entrepreneurial and proactive mindset.
  • Able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Strong sense of ethics, aligned with Pictet’s values and partnership culture.
  • Fluent in English and Chinese (Mandarin or Cantonese).
