Nations of Origin is a multi-faceted sport, cultural, education and leadership youth program held annually. The program has four main components: Reconciliation, Education, Cultural Identity and Sport.
Each year around 1,400 Indigenous & Non-Indigenous young people represent their Aboriginal Nation in Rugby League, Basketball, Netball and Gymnastics to promote reconciliations within communities and celebrate Australia diverse Indigenous culture.
Your contribution as an event volunteer for Nations of Origin is invaluable in creating a safe, fun and enriching environment for young people to develop their skills, build character and experience pride in representing their Nation.
Rugby league volunteer opportunity
Date: Tuesday 16 July and Wednesday 17 July 2025
Shifts: Available volunteer shifts are 6.30am-2.00pm, 9.00am-4.30pm or 12.00pm-7.30pm
Location: Whalan Reserve, Whalan NSW
Inclusion Lunch is provided. All event volunteers will be given a Nations of Origin volunteer hoodie to be worn at the event.

Medical Officer
General Duty Officers
