Position: Legal Clerk

Location: 217/39-47 Lasso Road, Gregory Hills, NSW 2557.

Employment Type: Full-time preferred (part-time applicants will also be considered)

MD Law Group is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic law student to join our growing team as a Legal Clerk.

This is an excellent opportunity to gain practical, hands-on experience across a broad range of legal matters while working closely with our Principal Solicitor and a Senior Lawyer. The successful candidate will receive ongoing mentoring, develop valuable practical skills and have the opportunity to progress into a Graduate Lawyer position upon admission.

About the Role

You will be involved in a variety of legal and administrative tasks, including:

• Assisting with personal injury matters, including:
• Workers Compensation
• Total and Permanent Disability (TPD) claims
• Motor Vehicle Accident claims
• Public Liability claims
• Assisting with residential and commercial conveyancing matters;
• Preparing legal documents, correspondence and court documents;
• Liaising with clients, medical providers, insurers and other stakeholders;
• Attending client conferences, mediations, settlements and court appearances where appropriate;
• Assisting with family law and wills and estates matters;
• Reception/First Impression duties;
• General administrative and practice support.

About You

To be considered for this role, you should:

• Be currently studying a Bachelor of Laws (students from any year level are encouraged to apply);
• Have excellent written and verbal communication skills;
• Possess strong organisational skills and attention to detail;
• Be proactive, reliable and eager to learn;
• Be able to work both independently and collaboratively within a team;
• Be committed to providing exceptional client service.

Previous experience in a legal or office environment is desirable but not essential.

Arabic language skills will be highly regarded, as we have a diverse client base.
