About Us

Mars Legal is a boutique law firm that specialises in civil litigation based in Sydney CBD.

Being a boutique firm means you will be hands on from the start while being supported and mentored by solicitors. Our goal is to mentor law graduates so that they can build on their skills and experience in the legal and civil litigation space and transition into a full-time graduate lawyer with the firm in 2026.

The Role

We are looking for law graduate (or a student finishing their degree this semester) to work full-time (or part-time if still a student, preferably 3 days per week), carrying out administration support (20%) as well as assisting the solicitors in a diverse number of client matters with planning and control of small to medium litigation matters (80%). Mars Legal conducts high volume of work; requiring the successful applicant to be independent, self-motivated, detailed oriented, organised and have the ability to take initiative and work to deadlines.

Key selection criteria:

• Completed Bachelor of Laws in 2024/25 or currently studying a Bachelor of Laws and is in final year with the aim to transition into a full time law graduate in 2025
• Ability to demonstrate leadership and work well in a team environment
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Detail orientated
• Proficient in the use of technology
