Mars Legal is a boutique law firm that specialises in civil litigation based in Sydney city.

Being a boutique firm means you will be hands on from the start while being supported and mentored by solicitors. Our goal is to mentor law clerks/paralegals so that they can build on their skills and experience in the legal and civil litigation space.

The Role

We are looking for an applicant that can work part time (preferably 3 days per week), carrying out administration support (30%) as well as assisting the solicitors in a diverse number of client matters with planning and control of small to medium litigation matters (70%). Mars Legal conducts high volume of work; requiring the successful applicant to be independent, self-motivated, detailed oriented, organised and have the ability to take initiative and work to deadlines.

Key selection criteria: 

-           Currently studying a Bachelor of Laws in third or second year of university

-           Ability to demonstrate leadership and work well in a team environment

-           Excellent written and verbal communication skills

-           Detail orientated

-           Proficient in the use of technology
