Undergraduate Site Engineer

As an Undergraduate Site Engineer, you will work within a construction project team that is responsible for delivering successful construction projects.   

This role may be placed within a Regional Business Unit, working on a large-scale residential or commercial project, or on a project in one of our key sectors of Aviation, Defence, Education or Health & Scientific Research. Some examples of our current projects include Frankston & Liverpool Hospitals, Melbourne Arts Precinct, One Circular Quay and Brisbane Airport Domestic & International Terminal Buildings. 

We also have Site Engineers working within our User Experience (UX) team. UX is a dedicated team within Lendlease Australia's Construction business, with a primary focus on executing projects that   are fast paced and require attention to construction detailing, delivery and procurement. UX operates across various sectors from Commercial fitout- (including high security fitouts) and base building upgrades, retail banking and education to retirement living and social & affordable housing.  

The types of works include asset repositioning, multi-site programs of work and bespoke new build projects. Some examples of our current projects' include a national program of works for key clients such as 7Eleven, Telstra, ANZ and NAB and working on internal fitout and various refurbishment projects for key clients.  

The Graduate Site Engineer role includes assisting with the coordination and monitoring of the site construction activities across safety, quality, procurement, scheduling, cost control, document & information control and subcontractor management, to ensure construction is completed safely, within schedule and costs objectives, and to high standards.  

You will contribute to routine phases of projects, assist with specific trade package management under the leadership of relevant supervisors and perform duties and tasks required by the project. This is a site-based role.

Eligibility & Commitment

  • To be eligible for our Undergraduate Program, you must be in your penultimate year of study
  • At time of application candidates must hold Australian/ New Zealand citizenship or Permanent Residency

 

Timeline of Recruitment Process

  • Applications close 6 April 2025
  • If eligible upon application, you will be prompted to complete an Online Psychometric assessment & Video Interview 
  • The final stage is Assessment Centres which will take place in late April 2025
