The Programme

We are seeking a motivated and talented Engineering Intern to join our Data Center Operations Team.  

This internship provides an excellent opportunity for a student or recent graduate to gain hands-on experience in the dynamic field of data center management, engineering and operations.  

Location: Quarry Bay. 

What You Will Do

• Support the team across operations, auditing, engineering, sales and maintenance activities.
• Identify areas where improvements can be made to systems and processes.
• Help analyze performance metrics and contribute feedback and interpretation of results.
• Participate in troubleshooting and problem-solving activities under the guidance of Senior Engineers.
• Assist in documenting processes, procedures, and system configurations.
• Contribute to projects aimed at optimizing data center performance and sustainability.
• Learn and apply industry best practices for data center operations and management.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support various data center initiatives. 

Required Skills and Abilities

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science or a related field.
• Strong interest in data center operations and infrastructure management.
• Basic understanding of electrical and mechanical systems.
• Familiarity with IT networking concepts and protocols will be an advantage.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong attention to details and ability to follow established procedures.
• Knowledge of data center standards and best practices (e.g. ASHRAE, Uptime Institute).
• Experience with programming or scripting languages (e.g. Python, PowerShell).
