The Role
This role sits within the Finance division. The purpose of this role is to provide day-to-day support across a range of accounts payable (AP), accounts receivable (AR), and general finance administration tasks.
You will be expected to maintain accurate financial records, support invoice processing and reconciliation, and assist in system updates and reporting to help ensure the smooth operation of finance-related processes.
Key Responsibilities
Accounts Payable (AP) and Finance Administration
- Monitor AP inbox and manage incoming invoices
- Process B&F, Fuji Xerox, Telstra, Vodafone, freight, and service invoices
- Add approved invoices and match simple GRPOs to AP invoices
- Export AP data via ProSpend and send remittance advices (and file appropriately)
- Set up new vendors and process credit applications
- Prepare and process quarterly BPAY transactions
- Support external audit requests and documentation
Accounts Receivable (AR) and Recharges
- Manage AR tenant recharge processes
- Complete café reconciliation activities
- Inventory, Pricing, and Discounts
- Update volume discounts in SAP when new items are created
- Generate inventory count forms and enter data into SAP
- Maintain customer-specific price updates
Ad Hoc Tasks
- Undertake other administrative duties and projects as required
Position Qualifications / Requirements
- Working knowledge of accounts payable and receivable processes.
- Strong attention to detail and data entry accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities.
- Solid communication skills and a team-oriented approach.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
- Previous experience in a finance or accounting support role highly advantageous but not essential.
- Ideally suited to someone currently studying or intending to study an undergraduate degree in Commerce or Accounting.
- Non-Australian citizens must have a visa that allows you work in Australia.

Contract:
Initial 6-month contract, 20 hours per week.
