Join one of Australia's most ambitious automotive challenger brands. As Assistant Accountant at JAC Motors Australia, reporting to the Head of Finance, you will play a crucial role in our finance team, enjoying an outstanding culture and supportive management in a friendly team environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, invoicing, and billing processes;

• Perform bank reconciliations and prepare financial reports;

• Process monthly general ledger journals and reports;

• Process monthly accruals, prepayments and subsequent journals;

• Perform balance sheet and general ledger reconciliation;

• Assist in preparing cash flow;

• Assist in preparing business activity statement;

• Maintain the fixed assets register;

• Contribute to system and process improvements;

• Assist with internal and external audits;

• Assist with finance and accounting documentation, compliance, and administration;

• Other ad hoc duties to support the team.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or equivalent;

• Basic accounting skills as a minimum;

• Ability to work within strict deadlines and reporting timetables;

• Prioritisation and organisational skills;

• Strong attention to detail and a focus on quality and accuracy;

• Excellent interpersonal skills and a self-motivator;

• Experience with XERO/Lightyear/Pentana and exposure to multi-currency payment environments preferred.
