JHA is seeking a Graduate / Junior ESD Engineer to join our Sydney ESD team!

This role suits an engineering graduate or early-career engineer with an interest in sustainable building design, building physics, energy modelling and building performance.

You will support ESD consulting across planning, design and construction stages, including ESD reports, Section J assessments, energy modelling, performance analysis, calculations, technical documentation and client communication.

Success in this role means producing accurate work, communicating clearly, learning quickly, asking good questions and helping project teams integrate practical ESD requirements into building design.

We are looking for someone with:

• A degree in Engineering
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Good attention to detail
• Interest in modelling, simulation, data and sustainability
• A practical and organised approach to learning
• Experience with IES, BERS Pro, energy modelling or ESD reporting will be viewed favourably, but is not mandatory
