The Programme 

We are looking for a driven and passionate Digital Marketing Intern to become a part of our team.

In the capacity of a Digital Marketing Intern, you will collaborate closely with our marketing team to support the execution of diverse digital marketing strategies, campaigns, and initiatives.  

This position will afford you practical experience across a broad spectrum of digital marketing activities and will play a significant role in enhancing the overall effectiveness of our marketing endeavors.

What You Will Do 

• Assist with email marketing initiatives. 
• Facilitate the management of social media profiles. 
• Support the development of content for the website and blog. 
• Aiding in the formulation and execution of digital marketing initiatives across multiple channels, including social media, email marketing, content marketing, search engine optimization (SEO), and pay-per-click (PPC) advertising. 
• Performing market research and competitor assessments to uncover trends, opportunities, and effective practices within the digital marketing sphere. 
• Working in conjunction with the marketing team to develop engaging and persuasive content for digital mediums, such as blog articles, social media updates, infographics, and video content. 
• Tracking and evaluating key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess the success of digital marketing initiatives and offer actionable recommendations for improvement. 
• Overseeing and refreshing the content on the company’s website, ensuring it remains current, user-friendly, and optimized for search engines. 
• Assisting in the administration of social media profiles by scheduling posts, monitoring interactions, and addressing comments and inquiries. 
• Facilitating the execution of email marketing strategies, which includes segmenting lists, creating content, and tracking performance metrics. 
• Contributing to the development and enhancement of paid advertising campaigns on platforms like Google Ads and various social media advertising networks. 
• Assist with fundamental SEO activities. 
• Evaluate digital marketing performance metrics.
• Participate in brainstorming discussions. 

Required Skills and Abilities 

• Engaged in any degree program in marketing or a related discipline. 
• Acquainted with digital marketing platforms. 
• Fundamental knowledge of SEO and analytics. 
• Acquaintance with widely used digital marketing instruments and platforms, including Google Analytics, Google Ads, social media management applications, and email marketing solutions. 
• Strong written and verbal communication abilities, capable of producing captivating and convincing content. 
• Expertise in utilizing social media platforms such as Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, and Instagram. 
• A fundamental understanding of HTML, CSS, and web content management systems (CMS) is advantageous. 
• Skilled in the Microsoft Office suite
• Innovative in addressing challenges. 

 Skills Required: 

• Possessing an analytical mindset, adept at interpreting data, extracting insights, and formulating recommendations based on data analysis. 
• Demonstrate robust organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail, with the ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently while adhering to deadlines. 
• Capable of functioning effectively within a team setting and collaborating with cross-functional groups.
• Knowledge in SEO, SMM and SEM required.
