About the role

As a Vacation Student - Mining Engineering, you'll gain hands-on experience supporting mine planning and production activities while contributing to safe and efficient mining operations.

Some of your responsibilities may include:

• Assisting with mine planning and scheduling activities
• Supporting production reporting and operational analysis
• Contributing to drill and blast planning activities
• Analysing mining performance and operational data
• Assisting with ventilation, haulage and infrastructure projects
• Working with operational teams to identify improvement opportunities

Mungari Operations, WA - Kalgoorlie Residents Only

Mungari is a cornerstone asset in our portfolio, with a mine life through to at least 2038. The operation is diverse and offers opportunities to gain exposure across a range of mining activities.

Roster: 8:6 (8 days on / 6 days off, 12 hr days)

Please note: accommodation is not provided at Mungari. For this reason, applications are primarily sought from Kalgoorlie residents.

About you

We're looking for motivated students who are curious, hands-on and eager to develop their technical skills.

You'll be:

• Living in Kalgoorlie, WA
• Studying Mining Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline
• A strong problem solver with analytical thinking skills
• A confident communicator and team player
• Holder of a valid manual driver's licence
