The Opportunity

Engage Construction is an established construction company delivering high-end renovations and remedial building projects across Sydney's Eastern Suburbs.

Our sites are organised. Our projects are structured. Our standards are high.

We’re now looking for a local, full-time Site Cadet to join our delivery team onsite. This is a hands-on role for someone who wants real exposure to how professional construction projects are run.

You’ll be embedded on active sites every day, learning directly from experienced supervisors and trades while contributing meaningfully to project delivery.

This role suits someone who wants to build a long-term career in construction and learn the right way from day one.

About the Role

This is a full-time onsite position based across projects in the Eastern Suburbs.

This is a hands-on role. You will be actively involved in labouring tasks while also learning how projects are coordinated and delivered.

Your day-to-day will include:

• General construction labouring

• Assisting trades and Site Supervisors daily

• Site setup and pack down

• Moving materials and maintaining site organisation

• Assisting with WHS compliance and safety procedures

• Supporting basic site documentation and reporting

• Exposure to site documentation and construction sequencing

• Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety

You won’t be standing on the sidelines — you’ll be in the work, learning by doing.

About You

• Genuine interest in construction and residential building

• Studying Construction Management (or similar)

• White Card (required)

• Driver’s licence (preferred)

• Physically fit and capable of manual labour

• Strong work ethic and willingness to learn

• Reliable, punctual and accountable

• Able to follow direction and work within a structured team environment

Previous construction or labouring experience is highly regarded.
