2026 eHealth NSW & SDPRIA Internship Program - Aboriginal Identified

We are very excited to announce that applications are now open for internship roles targeted specifically for Australian Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander people for the 2026 eHealth NSW & Single Digital Patient Implementation Authority (SDPRIA) NSW Internship Program Internship Program.

As an intern with us, you will work side by side with experienced teams, contribute to projects and gain valuable skills that go far beyond the classroom. You will get hands on experience while supporting eHealth NSW’s strategic objectives, working across a variety of IT projects in a workplace guided by our CORE values of Collaboration, Openness, Respect and Empowerment.

  • Employment Type: Full Time or Part Time Exempt (dependent on availability) for up to 12 months
  • Position Classification: Administration Officer Level 4
  • Remuneration: $36.45 - $37.29 per hour + 12% super

About the Opportunity

As an Intern within eHealth NSW/SDPRIA, you’ll have the chance to make a real impact on the future of healthcare by supporting key digital health initiatives. Your contributions will help improve patient outcomes, enhance system performance, and strengthen the digital capabilities of NSW Health.

This internship offers hands-on experience as part of a dynamic team working on high-value projects that drive digital transformation across the health system.

Depending on your experience, you may be involved in one or more of the following areas:

  • Clinical and customer engagement
  • Cloud services
  • Communications
  • Corporate applications
  • Cyber and information security
  • Data and analytics
  • Digital health
  • Finance
  • Human Resources
  • Project and change management

This is a unique opportunity to build professional experience, develop technical and interpersonal skills, and contribute to meaningful digital health innovation across NSW.

About You

We are looking for someone who:

  • Has recently graduated or in your last year of study towards a degree or diploma in business, commerce, communications, or a health-related discipline.
  • Has a genuine interest and passion for technology, people and processes is also advantageous.
  • Is available to work a minimum of 3 days up to 5 full business days (based on your availability) for the duration of your internship.
