Daracon are seeking a highly motivated a Cadet to join our Estimating Team based out of our Sydney office in Auburn. This is an excellent opportunity to join a supportive, family owned and operated employer who is able to offer you a long term position to grow and develop your career. 

This position will see you involved in a number of tasks as part of the estimating process, including compilation of detailed quanity takeoffs, maintenance of estimating databases, preparation of tender enquiries to suppliers/subucontractors and more. 

To be considered for this role, you will:

• Be studying a Bachelor of Civil Engineering or Bachelor of Construction Management
• Have the ability to follow instructions and complete tasks in an autonomous role 
• Have the ability to deliver work in a fast paced, time critical environment, whilst maintaining a level head and meeting all deadlines
• Have excellent communication skills in both a verbal and written capacity
• Be highly motivated with a strong desire to progress your career within an estimating role 
• Any expereince in Estimating would also be a distinct advantage
