Convil Group is a Sydney-based civil construction company delivering civil infrastructure projects across Sydney and surrounding areas.

We are seeking a Graduate Civil Site Engineer to join our project delivery team. This is a hands-on, site-based position for a recent Civil Engineering graduate who wants to build a career in civil construction and progress towards a Project Engineer role.

You will work directly with Project Engineers, Project Managers and Site Supervisors on live civil construction projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with day-to-day site engineering and project delivery
• Coordinate site activities with engineers, supervisors and subcontractors
• Review construction drawings, specifications and project requirements
• Undertake site measurements and quantity take-offs
• Assist with procurement and material coordination
• Prepare and maintain QA documentation, ITPs and inspection records
• Assist with RFIs, site records and progress reporting
• Monitor subcontractor works and construction progress
• Attend site inspections and project meetings
• Assist with WHS and environmental requirements
• Identify and assist in resolving site and construction issues
• Maintain accurate records of works completed on site

About You

To be considered, you should:

• Have completed, or be completing in 2026, a Bachelor of Civil Engineering or equivalent
• Have a strong interest in civil construction and site-based project delivery
• Be willing to work across construction sites in Sydney
• Have good written and verbal communication skills
• Be organised and able to manage multiple tasks
• Be willing to learn and take on increasing responsibility
• Hold a current Australian driver's licence
• Have Australian working rights

Previous experience in civil construction, council infrastructure, TfNSW projects, internships or site-based engineering will be highly regarded.
