As an Electrical Engineer
As a Graduate Electrical Engineer, you’ll begin your journey in our Capital Projects team in Railton, Tasmania, where you'll contribute to major infrastructure upgrades that enhance site safety, ensure regulatory compliance, and drive long-term operational performance. You’ll gain hands-on experience in:
- Supporting site-wide hazardous area compliance reviews
- Assisting in the design and delivery of end-of-life electrical system upgrades
- Contributing to electrical protection assessments and arc flash studies
- Delivering capital projects such as PCS server upgrades, coal unloading system improvements, and I/O enhancements
- Participating in the modernisation of legacy systems and strengthening electrical reliability
- Collaborating with engineers and stakeholders across departments to ensure projects meet technical, safety, and operational requirements
This is a high-impact, high-visibility role designed to develop your technical capability and prepare you to step into future leadership roles. You’ll be directly involved in the strategic improvements that will shape the future of our operations for years to come.
Who We’re Looking For
We’re looking for curious, driven grads who want to hit the ground running in 2025. You’ll thrive here if you are:
- Completing (or have recently completed) a Bachelor of Electrical Engineering
- Excited by complex infrastructure projects and hands-on problem solving
- Bring strong attention to detail and a safety-first mindset
- Enjoy collaborating across disciplines and working on high-impact initiatives
- Eager to develop expertise in areas such as compliance, systems modernisation, and protection systems
- Proactive, open to feedback, and motivated to grow into a future leader
- Open to relocating for rotations (we’ll support you every step of the way) – sites include Railton (TAS) and Gladstone (QLD)
