About the Role
Working in an ISO 17034 NATA accredited environment, you will manufacture BioPoint products in accordance with approved procedures and quality requirements. This is a production role rather than a research and development position. We would like someone who wants to stay long term to grow and develop the role.
You may also assist with product investigations, customer enquiries and stability studies under the guidance of senior staff.
Key Responsibilities
• Manufacture products according to approved procedures and production schedules.
• Prepare raw materials, reagents and production components.
• Dispense and label products
• Complete batch records and maintain accurate electronic and paper-based records.
• Perform routine quality control checks.
• Operate and maintain laboratory and production equipment.
• Maintain a clean, organised and compliant production environment.
• Monitor stock levels and assist with inventory management.
• Assist with product investigations, customer enquiries and stability studies as required.
• Participate in continuous improvement and follow all BioPoint quality, safety and accreditation requirements.
About You
You do not need to know everything about our products when you start. We are looking for the right attitude, a willingness to learn and someone who takes pride in producing quality work.
• 1-5 years of experience in a laboratory, manufacturing or technical environment or a recent graduate.
• A science qualification or relevant technical experience.
• Excellent attention to detail and an accurate, consistent approach to work.
• Comfortable following procedures and quality requirements.
• Reliable, organised, efficient and self-motivated.
• Collaborative, with strong communication, computer and record-keeping skills.
• Available to work full time (hours are flexible and can be negotiated) at our Sydney laboratory.
Why Join BioPoint?
• Small, supportive and friendly team with full training provided.
• Opportunity to develop broad technical and quality management skills.
• Varied laboratory, manufacturing and quality-related work with unique products.
• Stable and growing Australian company where you can contribute ideas and process improvements.
Salary
$62,000 to 65,000 plus superannuation (depending on experience)
If this sounds like you, we'd love to hear from you.
Please Note
This position is only open to applicants with unrestricted and ongoing working rights in Australia. BioPoint is unable to provide visa sponsorship for this role. Evidence of working rights will be required before commencement. A three-month probationary period will apply to the successful candidate.
