Assistant Accountant

Key Responsibilities:
  • Process daily accounting transactions, including employee reimbursements and vendor payments
  • Prepare and update cash reports (daily/weekly) and assist in bank reconciliations
  • Support monthly closing activities such as AR/AP reconciliation, cost center reviews, and accruals
  • Assist in forecasting expenses and maintaining monthly analysis reports
  • Track inventory movements and support year-end stock and fixed asset counts
  • Maintain employee leave and attendance records, assist in quarterly data analysis
  • Contribute to rolling cash flow forecasts
  • Coordinate with multiple systems (e.g., SAP & Xero) to ensure data consistency
  • Provide support on various ad-hoc financial tasks and projects as required
Requirements:
  • Bachelor or above in Accounting, Finance, or related fields
  • Minimum 1 year of relevant experience; familiarity with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Xero) is a plus
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and basic data analysis
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and communication skills
  • Good command of written and spoken English is preferred
